About the solar system
In addition to the weather station, I run a solar system with a total power of 7 kW and Envertech inverter hardware. Its data is read directly from the inverter on the local network and additionally via the Envertech cloud.
The inverter’s data is integrated into Home Assistant just like the weather data, for a unified and comprehensive overview. I developed two custom Home Assistant integrations for this purpose: a local version that talks to the inverter directly on the home network, and a cloud version that reads the data via the Envertech cloud API.
The ring shows the current output relative to the system’s total power of 7 kW; the small marker shows today’s peak. The power curve uses the same full scale. Values refresh automatically while the page is open.
